  14.         Hot on the heels of TypeSmith V1.0 is its upgraded version.
  15.     Soft-Logik have had such great response with V1.0 that they are
  16.     able to bring out V2.0.

  18.         TypeSmith is a structured font editor for creating scalable
  19.     fonts for use with desktop publishing software such as PageStream
  20.     and ProPage.

  22.     Version 2 includes the following features:
  23.  
  24.     o   Bitmap screen fonts - you can now create from scratch, modify
  25.         existing screen fonts or automatically generate them for your
  26.         software.  The Bitmap screen fonts speed up the display on
  27.         screen when working with structured fonts.
  28.  
  29.     o   Font hints - these make fonts look better at low resolution
  30.         and small sizes.  TS2 can generate stem and serif hints to
  31.         ensure that your fonts will look as good as possible.
  32.  
  33.     o   Can automatically trace the outline of a picture.  This is
  34.         perfect for scanning decorative fonts and then turning them
  35.         into structured scalable fonts.

  37.     Other features include:
  38.      - Rulers and Guides to make measuring your fonts easy.
  39.      - Clipboard support to allow the sharing of files between
  40.         programs.
  41.      - More ARexx commands
  42.      - Version numbers can be added to your fonts to help keep track
  43.         of various releases.
  44.      - Screen refreshes are up to 100% faster.

  63.         Electronic Arts is FINALLY shipping Deluxe Music 2.0, the
  64.     major upgrade/rewrite of Deluxe Music Construction Set which they
  65.     originally released back in 1986.  (There has been a demo version
  66.     of DM2 in our library here for the past few months).
